About the role

We’re looking for a skilled Content Strategist to join our dynamic team at Octav. In this role, you’ll develop and execute a long-form content strategy that positions Octav as a thought leader in the DeFi space. In your day-to-day, you will be creating blog posts, case studies and newsletters, your work will drive organic traffic, engage our audience, and enhance our brand authority.

Key responsibilities

Lead Octav’s Long-Form Content Strategy
- Research, plan, and write high-quality, SEO-optimized content such as blog posts, case studies, and in-depth guides.
- Develop a monthly content calendar with topics aligned to Octav’s marketing goals and audience needs.
- Create a monthly newsletter featuring company updates, industry insights, and engaging content to boost subscriber engagement.
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to ensure content supports the overarching marketing strategy.
- Partner with the Senior Marketing Manager to align content efforts with Octav’s user acquisition and brand-building goals.
Measure, Analyze, and Optimize Content Performance
- Track content performance using metrics like organic traffic, conversion rates, and engagement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to refine content strategy.
Experiment with New Content Formats
- Envision and contribute to video content ideas to diversify Octav’s content offering.

What we’re looking for

Experience: 2+ years in content strategy, writing, or related roles, ideally in SaaS, FinTech, or Web3.
Writing Excellence: A track record of creating compelling, research-driven content.
SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO tools and best practices to drive organic traffic.
Collaboration Skills: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to align content with broader goals.
Industry Passion: Understanding of the Web3 and DeFi landscape is a significant plus.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analyzing content performance metrics and translating insights into actionable strategies.
